The original Gleason house is now the Reynold's house.  The second Gleason house on Southport Island was Wild Acres.  Wild Acres was moved in 1947 to it's current location and has seen numerous additions and renovations since then.  Loafing Rocks was built in 1937 and while Ms Pennington owned the house there was very little changed.  In 1974 The Gleasons purchased the house and soon there after insulated and pine paneled the first floor.  In recent years there have been more renovations and the addition of a second upstairs bedroom and bathroom.
